Renewables and Energy Efficient Improvements
Since 2007, EIS have been at the forefront of the design
and installation of energy efficient lighting schemes. Working with
the major lighting manufacturers, EIS have delivered projects that
have saved sufficient energy to pay back the capital cost in less
than 2 years.
EIS have established strong working relationships with a number of
UK based Induction Lighting manufacturers which has enabled us to
offer the very latest technology with significant energy reductions
as well as extremely long lamp life, in excess of 65,000 hours,
thereby reducing maintenance costs.
To further this position in the ‘renewables’ market, EIS have
embarked on gaining accreditation with the Microgeneration
Certification Scheme (MCS) in order to offer Solar Photovoltaic (PV)
installations which will qualify for the government’s Feed in Tariff
(FIT) scheme. As part of this service, EIS have joined the Renewable
Energy Assurance Ltd (REAL) scheme to demonstrate a commitment to
our customers.
With a valued track record of delivering energy efficient projects,
EIS have been approved by Siemens Financial Services Ltd to
facilitate Carbon Trust funding. In addition, EIS have negotiated
leasing arrangements for lighting schemes over, typically three or
five years, which assists in those situations where the initial
capital is not readily available.
EIS are also able to offer additional services beneficial in
reducing the energy requirements such as Power Correction Factor
equipment, ground source and air source heat pumps. In working with
some of our major customers and alongside ‘third party’ energy
consultants, bringing this range of energy efficient projects into
service has resulted in significantly reducing carbon dioxide
emissions.
